• Extended-Release tablets 

The initial dose is 0.5 to 1 mg. which should be consumed by mouth once daily. There is a maintenance dose between three to six milligrams orally, daily, in the morning. In a day, there should be a maximum dosage, which is ten milligrams in a day.

You must gradually reduce the dosage while discontinuing therapy or reducing the daily dosage. Never lower your dosage in a day, by more than 0.5 mg, in three days. The dosage of extended-release tablets should be increased at intervals of three to four days, with significantly fewer increments of around 1 mg daily.
